Trevor Bolder's Motorcycle For Sale
Thank you for you
enquiry, regarding Trevor Bolder's Motorcycle.
The machine is a Yamaha XVS 650 Dragstar Classic,
which has covered less than 5800 miles since it was
bought brand new on 29th May 2002
Trevor's name is on the V5C and is the only owner of
He bought it when he had just passed his UK
motorcycle test, having traded in his Suzuki 125,
which he learned to ride on.
Trevor always had the bike garaged, and there were
some years when he didn't have time to ride it, with
other projects he was engaged in, and also the busy
touring schedules that he had with Uriah Heep.
The MOT certificates, detail the very small mileages
which were done on a yearly basis.
The bike is fitted with a Screen and Back Rest and
Panniers which are all Yamaha products, it is taxed
until the end of September and the MOT is for 1
There is a new battery fitted and the bike starts
and runs well. I have driven the bike to the MOT
station and it's a really nice ,comfortable ride.
Everything on the bike is original and overall its
in very good condition.
There are a few age related marks, and a little bit
of aging to the aluminium, but nothing that cannot
be rectified with some polishing,I would score this
bike a 9/10.
Before Trevor passed away, he specifically asked me
to do him a favour, and this was to sell his bike,
and to give the money to his wife. I asked when the
sale should proceed, and Trevor and I agreed, that
it would be after his death.
Trevor did say that he would be pleased if a Uriah
Heep fan was to purchase the bike and cherish it as
a useable bike, but also for someone to be able to
own this Pride and Joy, and lets face it, you're
never going to have this opportunity again.
