URIAH HEEP HOLLAND PHOTOBOOK

Previous Heep bands  did very well in the UK scene. David Byron and Mick Box started The Stalkers, then Spice...and Spice became Uriah Heep.

Spice was the houseband in the famous London Marquee for january, february and march 1969. Spice gigged every saturday in this period of time.. Check the Marquee website here
Or download the january 1969 programme here

Uriah Heep did their first Marquee gig on august 10 1970, and next one was in august 1971

Ken Hensley was a member of Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers, The Jimmy Brown Sound, The Gods and Toe Fat before he joined Uriah Heep. Lee Kerslake drummed with the National Head Band and the Gods. Gary Thain played the bass with the Keef Hartley Band.

Below you see several posters and adds with these bands name on it from 1968, 1969 and 1970.
