Rodrigo
lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has his hands
full not only working at
www.uriah-heep.com but also administering the official Ken Hensley
website, www.ken-hensley.com.
Rod is a telecommunications engineer who runs
his own basses & guitars business (www.dalegria.com),
and is a world traveller, always searching for
good music and beer!
Rod joined Hani So (Singapore) and Dave White (USA) in March 1997 to develop uriah-heep.com
. Hani eventually had to left the team due to personal
priorities and was then substituted by the always enthusiastic
Louis Rentrop.
"I have been in the Internet environment since the end of
1995, and immediately began looking for Heep-related stuff. At
the time, not too much was available: apart from Hani's and
Dave's sites, there was also Jesse Lowe's site. They were the
pioneers. I thought about starting a Ken Hensley site, to fill
the gap, and apparently it worked pretty well!
After some time, it just seemed that merging our sites would
provide a complete source for Heep-related info, and so
uriah-heep.com emerged.
The exchange of info, feelings and material in general with
people from all over the world has been an awesome experience.
It's amazing how the wonderful music of Uriah Heep can bring
such good things out of people!"
