Well, with all of this awful turmoil going on around the world that the virus is creating, we have some really good news, as the International Heepster Community has reached an amazing 10,000 members!

That is just incredible, and a big thanks goes to George Quartz and Jari Perko for playing their part in making this wonderful milestone happen!

To all of you Heepsters, keep the faith, and we will get through these troubled times, and hopefully be playing shows in your city in the future!

Stay safe out there and adhere to all of your government guidelines, and thank you so much for your continued support, as it means the world to us!

‘Appy days!

A
s the global situation involving Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to unfold, many of our friends and family in the UK and international music scene have already made the difficult decision to postpone any and all events currently scheduled.

POSTPONE ALL MARCH/APRIL 2020 SHOWS

In recognition of the importance and scale of this global pandemic, Uriah Heep will adhere to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and governments worldwide, by postponing all currently scheduled performances. As soon as possible, the promoters for each show will have ticketing and/or rescheduling information available.

With our fan’s health and safety as paramount in these difficult times and general fear of public gatherings, we feel it only right that we look to re-schedule the shows (or as many as possible) to a time where everyone feels safer and can enjoy a concert without risk of illness.

A personal message from Mick Box:

" The band are devastated that our shows have finally succumbed to the Coronavirus! We are having to adhere to all of the Government guidelines in every territory, and therefore we have no choice but to postpone our upcoming shows in Russia. We do this with a sad heart, as we were really looking forward to ‘Rocking in Russia’ over the coming 4 weeks. Luckily it is postponed and not cancelled, so hopefully we will see you in 2021, when this awful virus has been controlled, whereby life can carry on as usual. To all you rockers out there, stay safe and see you later in the year.

Mick Box URIAH HEEP”

BMG PROUDLY ANNOUNCE THE RE-RELEASE OF URIAH HEEP'S 'DEMONS AND WIZARDS' ALBUM AS A 180 G VINYL LP WITH NEW ROGER DEAN RE-IMAGINED ARTWORK!
Nov 23, 2018

https://uriahheep.lnk.to/DemonsNWizardsPR

BMG are continuing their 'Art Of The Album' series with one of the defining heavy rock albums of the 1970's. Uriah Heep were in the middle of a productive period of their long and illustrious career with this, their 4th album. Released during their creative peak in 1972, 'Demons And Wizards' captures a magical time in the music world and considers fantastical possibilities as barriers were broken down by space travel and supersonic transportation became a reality. These events were reflected by bands such as Uriah Heep with imaginations rich in imagery and with a broad musical range. Roger Dean is widely seen as one of the masters of 12" album cover art from this time, not only working with Uriah Heep but also Yes and many others. Roger Dean: “'Demons And Wizards' had a magical cover, and although people didn’t necessarily believe in magic back then, they believed in possibilities, and that’s what was most fascinating about that time to me.”

Both Mick Box and Ken Hensley from Uriah Heep agree that Roger's 'Demons And Wizards' artwork visually captured the band and their music at their peak. This new 180 g vinyl re-release (re-mastered by Andy Pearce) features detailed new notes by Joel McIver, which perfectly captures the times this album represents and reveals the story behind the making of the artwork. “‘Demons and Wizards’ really took us on to the world stage and we have been there ever since, so we have a lot to thank that album for. It really has truly stood the test of time.
