That one is almost full: 142 fans now, 150 being the limit. Subscribe for free now at louis@uriah-heep.com . At the Zoetermeer and Hardenberg fan meetings Leo Spruit, Marcel Wigmans & Louis Rentrop will appear as the "Heepettes", inviting you all to do ALL vocals on "Why Did You Go" and "Lady In Black". - Available in the 2nd week of February by Classic Rock Productions, some "Super Audio CD" (SACD) titles including Uriah Heep's "Magic Night"! They will all play on any CD player, but pop them into an SACD player (or your DVD player if it's enabled for SACD) for the ultimate Multi-channel surround sound experience, which only the superior resolution of Direct Stream Digital audio can produce. In addition, in just a few weeks, they will be offering you "DVD Audio" (DVDA). This is the rival format to SACD. It will play at good quality multi-channel sound on any normal DVD player. However play it on a DVD-audio player (or a Hybrid DVD machine) and you can listen to Advance Resolution Multi-Channel Surround Sound! This is the next generation of DVD sound which uses a much higher encoding and playback sampling. Again the results are striking to the ordinary listener. Overall sounds are warmer on DVD Audio and every disc on the market is Multi-Channel. For extra info and ordering: http://www.classicrockproductions.com/2004/sacdintro.htm . - The David Byron book written by Jeff Perkins, "Born To Perform" is now available through Classic Rock Productions: http://www.classicrockproductions.com/storen/uriahheep/dbyron.html (less than 60 copies left!).

- Last November The Heep made more than six thousand people rock in Stockholm! Now some pics are published on the web by ScanHeep: http://www.go.to/scanheep (thanks to Filip Björner for the info).

- UK's "Classic Rock" magazine criminally neglected to put Heep's "Live 73" in their list of top live albums. Well, here's our chance to put Heep back up there. Print off the following form/image and do as it instructs: http://www.uriah-heep.com/vote_live.jpg , or send your Top 5 Live Album titles on a postcard or the back of a sealed envelope by March 30th 2004 to Readers' Greatest Live Albums, Classic Rock, 99 Baker Street, London W1U 6FP, England. (thanks to Mike Taylor and Jay Pearson for the info)

- The Brazilian "Rock Brigade" magazine (http://www.rockbrigade.com.br) published on its January issue a review on last year's "Magician Birthday Party" event: http://www.uriah-heep.com/newa/pressreviews.php . They also included a note about Trevor Bolder now playing the Brazilian D'Alegria handcrafted bass guitars: http://www.uriah-heep.com/newa/webimages/RB_Jan2004a.jpg .

- Awesome old Uriah Heep photos can be found at this website: http://www.repfoto.com/ . You will find photos of Heep with David Byron, as well as pics from the 1975 "Butterfly Ball" live concert featuring John Lawton and Ozzy Osbourne's concerts featuring Lee Kerslake, and plenty of stunning photos of tons of other rock acts! (thanks to Harrie Hendriksen for the tip)

- Brazil's most popular progressive rock website, "Rock Progressivo Brasil" (RPB), is currently organizing its annual "Best of" poll. To vote for Uriah Heep, please follow this link: http://www.rockprogressivo.com.br/pesquisas/best_eng.htm (thanks to Cesar Lanzarini for the info).

- We all know that Heep do not get enough air play on UK TV & radio, well if you have been listening to Alex Lester 3.00am to 6.00am on January 26th on BBC Radio 2 you would have heard "Easy Living"! Maybe a small step but the week before he told listeners that he had gone out to a local record shop and bought several Heep albums and was going to play them in the coming weeks. Perhaps we should all e-mail and/or call Steve Wright and get some on when most of us are awake! (thanks to Bill Brisco for the info)

- The new Turkish Uriah Heep Fan Club Page, "HeepTurk", is now up and running: http://www.geocities.com/heepturk/ . Its keeper, Bora Cetin, is in addition writing a 4 or 5-page long article about Heep for the "HE" magazine.

- If you tried to get in touch with Katia Pardini regarding the new Brazilian Uriah Heep Fan Club and your e-mail bounced back, then the right time is now as she is again reachable at katiarock@hotmail.com . Soon their website will be up and running...
