- A new band has been just formed by singer John Lawton (ex-Uriah Heep and
Lucifer's Friend): it's called On The Rocks, and it also features the
Dutch guitar player Jan Dum?, ex-member of prog rock band Focus.
Completing the lineup are top Brazilian players, although the sound style
is defined as being of mainly British/Dutch influence. New live dates, a
studio CD and a live DVD are planned for this year! Watch this space for
more news soon.
- Don't forget: Ken Hensley to be featured on the TV show "Hit-Giganten"
(Hit Giants) that will be broadcasted throughout on the SAT1 channel on
May 31st in prime time! Also on the bill: Toto, Ritchie Blackmore,

- Grzegorz Kupczyk, a Polish singer who was part of Turbo and CETI, is
releasing next Monday through Metal Mind Records a new CD called "Memories",
containing a number of 70s classic rock tunes. Included are Uriah Heep's
"Gypsy" and "July Morning" plus other selections originally recorded by
Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. For more details:
