- On a sad note, Harald Vogt, the Heep merchandiser for several years,
passed away on June 11th. Mick Box speaks: "Harald had a big heart and
would do anything for anybody even if it meant going out of his way. He
was one of life's characters and he will be sadly missed! Our thoughts
are with his lady Angela at this difficult time".

- The plans for Heepvention 2008 in Granada, Southern Spain are becoming
stronger now, and it seems that besides John Lawton, other ex-Heep members
will take part of it: Ken Hensley, Paul Newton and hopefully Keith Baker

- John Lawton's On The Rocks band is currently recording their debut
album, as previously announced. All guitars, keyboards, bass and drums
parts are now ready, and John's vocals will be recorded in the second half
of July in Holland. All lyrics and vocal melodies are now ready! More

- John Wetton & Asia have just released their new live album called

- John Gallen was Heep's assistant engineer, then engineer and finally
producer between 1976 (High And Mighty) and 1980 (Conquest). Besides
that, he worked with several other artists during the same period and

- A long time ago, Trevor Bolder replaced Tony Visconti as the bass player
for David Bowie's band, years before he joined The Heep for the very first
