- Please notice that there were some small changes on the live dates above.  We'll keep an updated list on the website in any way.  One of the recent inclusions was the Masters of Rock Festival in the Czech Republic on July 13th, and by the way it is possible to vote for The Heep on their website, so let's go for it Heepsters: http://www.mastersofrock.cz/www/index.php?votefor=318 .  Just scroll down and look for the list of bands on the right; then click on Heep's name.

- The original MySpace website for Uriah Heep has now moved to it's new home at http://www.myspace.com/uheep .  Join us there from now on please... and if you were already subscribed, please re-subscribe to this new one as well as the old one will soon be deleted.

- A new 3-CD Uriah Heep compilation was released by Union Square Music.  It's a well put together package, and comprising Heep's career up to "Different World": http://www.unionsquaremusic.co.uk/titlev4.php?ALBUM_ID=972&LABEL_ID=16 .

- Uriah Heep's "Look At Yourself" is featured on the July issue (#7/2007) of the Japanese magazine "Burrn!", with a 1/2 page on "The Legacy" column.  Thanks to Antonio Pirani for the info.

- Thanks to all of you who sent (through the website) your birthday greetings to Mick Box, Trevor Bolder and Bernie Shaw!  By the way, a note about Mick's birthday was posted on the Undercover website in Australia: http://undercover.com.au/News-Story.aspx?id=2244 .

- On a sad note, Harald Vogt, the Heep merchandiser for several years, passed away on June 11th.  Mick Box speaks: "Harald had a big heart and would do anything for anybody even if it meant going out of his way.  He was one of life's characters and he will be sadly missed!  Our thoughts are with his lady Angela at this difficult time".

- The plans for Heepvention 2008 in Granada, Southern Spain are becoming stronger now, and it seems that besides John Lawton, other ex-Heep members will take part of it: Ken Hensley, Paul Newton and hopefully Keith Baker as well!  A (very well rehearsed) videoclip about HV08 showing organiser Alan Keetley and John can be watched here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T48MEaRzrF0 .  Frequent updates on HV08 available at http://www.heepvention2008.com and http://www.johnlawtonband.com/ .

- Find links to new reviews on Ken Hensley's "Blood On The Highway" CD at http://www.ken-hensley.com ("News" section), as well as reports and photos from the recent live dates, including some reports written by Ken himself.  Available at the "News" section are also details on the very special limited edition package, that also includes a double DVD!  Finally, Glenn Hughes will be Ken's special guest on this year's edition of the Ken Hensley Summer Party!  The concert will happen in Gressvik, Norway on August 4th (details at the Tour Dates page on the site).

- John Lawton's On The Rocks band is currently recording their debut album, as previously announced.  All guitars, keyboards, bass and drums parts are now ready, and John's vocals will be recorded in the second half of July in Holland.  All lyrics and vocal melodies are now ready!  More details soon at http://www.otr-band.co.uk/ .  On the June issue (#250) of the Brazilian magazine "Rock Brigade" a 1-page article on the band was published.

- The October 13th Uriah sHeep Market www.rentrock.nl/sheepmarket2007/  is going very well.  Tickets sales are running fast!  We have some great surprises for you... Circle of Hands (Heep tribute band) and John Lawton will give us something really special... more to come!

- John Gallen was Heep's assistant engineer, then engineer and finally producer between 1976 (High And Mighty) and 1980 (Conquest).  Besides that, he worked with several other artists during the same period and after that, up to this day.  For complete details, please go to his website at http://www.johngallen.com/ .  A very cool pic showing Gallen with Mick Box, Ken Hensley and Chris Slade can be seen on the "Pictures" page there.

- A long time ago, Trevor Bolder replaced Tony Visconti as the bass player for David Bowie's band, years before he joined The Heep for the very first time.  Tony has recently released his autobiography, "Bowie, Bolan and the Brooklyn Boy", check it out here: http://www.tonyvisconti.com/news/index.shtml .
