- On a sad note, Harald Vogt, the Heep merchandiser for several years,
passed away on June 11th. Mick Box speaks: "Harald had a big heart and
would do anything for anybody even if it meant going out of his way. He
was one of life's characters and he will be sadly missed! Our thoughts
are with his lady Angela at this difficult time".

- The plans for Heepvention 2008 in Granada, Southern Spain are becoming
stronger now, and it seems that besides John Lawton, other ex-Heep members
will take part of it: Ken Hensley, Paul Newton and hopefully Keith Baker
as well! A (very well rehearsed) videoclip about HV08 showing organiser

- Find links to new reviews on Ken Hensley's "Blood On The Highway" CD at

dates, including some reports written by Ken himself. Available at the

package, that also includes a double DVD! Finally, Glenn Hughes will be
Ken's special guest on this year's edition of the Ken Hensley Summer
Party! The concert will happen in Gressvik, Norway on August 4th (details
at the Tour Dates page on the site).
- John Lawton's On The Rocks band is currently recording their debut
album, as previously announced. All guitars, keyboards, bass and drums
parts are now ready, and John's vocals will be recorded in the second half
of July in Holland. All lyrics and vocal melodies are now ready! More

. On the June issue (#250) of the Brazilian magazine "Rock Brigade" a
1-page article on the band was published.
- The October 13th Uriah sHeep Market
is going very well. Tickets sales are running fast! We have some great
surprises for you... Circle of Hands (Heep tribute band) and John Lawton
will give us something really special... more to come!
- Videoclips showing John Lawton with The Les Humphries Singers:
("Sing Sang Song", Eurovision song contest), and

- A clip showing John Sloman recently performing at the P60 in Amstelveen,
Holland was posted on YouTube:
(that's an old song that John has re-visited, called "The Other Side of

- The Italian band Wicked Minds is very much influenced by Heep. The band

- Besides Tesla, another North American band has recently recorded a
version of Heep's "Stealin'", No Hassle. You can listen to their version
- John Wetton & Asia have just released their new live album called
"Fantasia: Live In Tokyo". Detailed info can be found here:

studio CD with unreleased songs is being prepared, and the official Asia
autobiography "Heat of the Moment" is out now as well:
- John Gallen was Heep's assistant engineer, then engineer and finally
producer between 1976 (High And Mighty) and 1980 (Conquest). Besides
that, he worked with several other artists during the same period and
after that, up to this day. For complete details, please go to his

- A long time ago, Trevor Bolder replaced Tony Visconti as the bass player
for David Bowie's band, years before he joined The Heep for the very first
time. Tony has recently released his autobiography, "Bowie, Bolan and the
Brooklyn Boy", check it out here:
- Dave White, one of Heep's webmasters and a guitar player influenced by a
certain Mr. Box, is recording with keyboard player Alex Falcone (of Uriah
Heep tribute band Sweet Lorraine:
) on his soon to be released CD titled "Alex Falcone AphasiA". The CD
will feature artists such as James Christian (House Of Lords), Kee
Marcello (Europe), Alessandro Lotta (Rhapsody), James Thompson (Joe
Cocker, Zucchero), Walter Pod (Madsword), Mark Lee Ziero (Heaven's Touch,
Sin's Here), Stefano Caucich alias Mr. Rock (W.I.N.D), Stefano Simoni
