- Uriah Heep will be playing the Burg Herzerg festival in Germany on July 21st.  It's a very interesting festival as Colosseum (with ex-Heep member Mark Clarke on bass and ex-David Byron's Rough Diamond guitarist Clem Clempson) will play just before The Heep.  Find an interesting interview with Mark here:
http://dmme.net/interviews/clarke.html , and a current photo of the band here: http://www.handmadeconcerts.de/COLOSSEUM/index.html .  On the next day an all-star band will perform with Clem Clempson and singer/guitar player Miller Anderson (ex-Keef Hartley Band with Gary Thain).  More details at http://www.burgherzberg-festival.de/index_d.html .

- Some great Uriah Heep live pics taken in 1977 by Bjarne Kjell Andersen :
http://www.kellmusic.com/images/musicalbum1/index.html .  Thanks to Jenny Persson for the tip.

- Coincidences... or not!  Clicking here:
http://www.dangerousage.com/bsscover.html you'll see an article on the famous cover artwork for ELP's "Brain Salad Surgery" album, based on H.R. Giger's painting and designed by Fabio Nicoli.  Fabio also designed the "Uriah Heep Live" ("Live 73") album cover.  The article was written by Ioannis, who happens to be the designer of the new Heep album's cover!!  By the way, an interview with Ioannis will be made next weekend by Dave White and uploaded to Uriah-Heep.com anytime next week... stay tuned!

- Trevor Bolder has played bass on the song "Forever" by the band Innersylum.  Check it out at Trevor's MySpace page:
http://www.myspace.com/trevorbolder .  Innersylum's page is at http://www.myspace.com/innersylum .

- Some videoclips showing The Gods featuring Russell Gilbrook can be found at YouTube: "Fire In The Hole" (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZrIs4PjE7Q ) and "Diamond Revolver Party" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOPbFhCQYZA ).  Of course it is not the same The Gods as the one that once included Lee Kerslake (and Ken Hensley and Paul Newton).  Find more about them here: http://www.thegentlemenofdistortedsound.com and http://www.myspace.com/gentlemenofdistortedsound .  Thanks to Taasan for the info.
