- Just before the Uriah Heep gig in Geleen, Holland on November 9th, a get together of fans will happen at the Amadeus Cafe 3 on the Geleen market, just 3 minutes from the venue (Hanenhof). - A site from South Africa called Dinosaur Days has a section called "In Search Of The Perfect Albums"... look at the first album they consider to be perfect: http://www.dinosaurdays.co.za/ . Summary: "Uriah Heep created a perfect album with 'Demons and Wizards'. This moment was never to be repeated by any hard rock band. You cannot beat a 10". Please note they are doing reviews of all the Heep albums as well. Thanks to Glen Doucet for the tip.

- A new classic rock station has just gone on air here in the UK: Virgin Radio Classic Rock ( http://www.virginradioclassicrock.co.uk/ ). Currently they don't play any Heep but we can change that by becoming a VIP member and e-mailing them to get playing Heep. So it's time for us to work again mates! Thanks to Mike Taylor for the tip.

- Former Uriah Heep vocalist John Sloman features on two tracks for the forthcoming "Highlander: The Source" movie, directed by Brett Leonard. Sloman sings on what have been described as "amazing contemporary versions" of "Princes of the Universe" and "Who Wants to Live Forever", that will also be available on the soundtrack CD. The Welsh born vocalist and multi-instrumentalist returned to his routes for inspiration on his recent "13 Storeys" CD, available from Slogger Records, and the haunting "Stars Look Down on Gotham City" has also been chosen as the closing theme tune for December's Birmingham International Comics Show (BICS).
