- Pinkpop chairman Jan Smeets told the press that
he wants to put together a classic Pinkpop Festival for 2005. Bands form
the Pinkpop past can be chosen to perform at Pinkpop again. So let's e-mail
them at info@pinkpop.nl and ask them
to include the 1976 headliner again... Uriah Heep!

Canadian Heepster Lor D'Alimonte: "Just thought I'd let you know
about something that occurs here in Toronto. At the Toronto Blue Jays
baseball games, stadium officials display names of fans who are celebrating
their birthday on that particular day, on the giant scoreboard or 'Jumbotron'
as they call it here. While they are displaying the names, the music of
Uriah Heep's 'The Magician's Birthday' is played over the sound system".
