- The 2005 edition of Heepvention in the USA will happen in less than a
month: August 6th-7th! Knoxville in Tennessee is being prepared by some
very devoted Heepsters to house this very special happening. Anyone who
has already been in one of these events know how special they are, so if
you are reasonably close to it, or need some holidays, this is the right
opportunity! Check out all details at
http://www.heepvention05.com/
. There's also some cool merchandise now available! For any extra info,
please contact the organisation staff at HV05Survey@travellersintime.com .
- The Stay On Top (German Uriah Heep Fan Club) website now presents their
"David Byron Spezial" section! It concerns the legendary vocal recordings
of Byron which were gathered by Ralf Sch?emann, in a hard work and a long
year search! As Ralf's search for undiscovered vocal recordings of Byron
will continue, the website will be also constantly updated. You can see
this at

(thanks to Renate Fischer of SOT).
- A Living Loud tour featuring Lee Kerslake has been announced for
September/October in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg. This
is yet to be confirmed, more details soon.
- Yesterday, the "Day of Rock", Brasil 2000 FM radio station in S? Paulo,
Brazil, asked some VIPs to choose which albums they consider the most
important in rock history and to choose one track from each of them.
Antonio Pirani, editor-in-chief of "Rock Brigade" magazine, who actually
claims himself to be "the biggest Uriah Heep fan of all times", chose the
"Demons And Wizards" LP and from it "Traveller In Time" was played!
- Rock radio DJ Chris Tetley has died. Tetley was known for his rock show
on Manchester's Piccadilly Radio from 1977-1993 and was responsible for a
famous Uriah Heep interview released on a picture LP and later on CD (http://www.saunalahti.fi/~htapiom/search2/story.htm).
We send condolences to his family and friends.
