Wishbone Ash will not be appearing at the Magician's Birthday Party 2003.
Organizers Classic Rock Productions say: "A communications mix up
meant that in our enthusiasm to bring you the news we had overlooked the
fact that the band were already booked to appear at the same venue in
April 2004 and are therefore contractually unable to appear on the bill
in November. Sorry for any disappointment out there."
Anyway, discussions are
currently taking place with a major act as a replacement and an announcement
will follow shortly!! So, don't miss the opportunity to attend this year's
biggest bash, and subscribe now as numbers are strictly limited to just
2000!
John "Velvet Voice"
Lawton has been booked to appear. The exact setlist is still evolving
but the band hope to be showcasing material for the forthcoming new album,
alongside some classic material never before recorded by this line-up,
likely choices including: "Pilgrim", "Shadows of Grief",
"Been Away Too Long", "The Hanging Tree", "Wise
Man" and "Firefly". With such a mouth watering prospect,
this year’s concert will be filmed and recorded. For the early bird
there’s the opportunity to get in on the ground floor and subscribe
for the great DVD and CD package of the show at the amazing price of just
