- THE MAGICIAN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY 2004!
As every year, the event was a huge success!! Some photos can already be seen here: http://uriah-heep.com/newa/mbp2004pics.php . Many more will be added during the next days, as well as reports, so please keep checking this page out! It is hard to point highlights, as there were reportedly so many: the Uriah Heep main Saturday concert featuring guest stars like Osibisa on a wild version of "Look At Yourself", and a setlist full of surprises such as "If I Had The Time", "A Year Or A Day", "When The War Is Over", "So Tired", "Words In The Distance", and more (wait for the CD/DVD!); Ken Hensley's special appearance on Friday playing songs like "Rain", "Through The Eyes Of A Child" and parts of "The Return" and "The Last Dance", among others; the already traditional Heep Festival Club where everyone had time to chat and drink and eventually bid on Heepy items; and the Circle Of Hands (http://www.circle-of-hands.de) stunning acoustic gig, with great vocal harmonies and even a true flute for the intro of "Come Away Melinda".
