- Messages from John Lawton and Ken Hensley to the fans:
" To all my friends out there, I hope you had a good Christmas and are
looking forward to great New Year....
Iris and I plus the guys from JLB, have had a busy 2004, it seems to have
been non stop in one way or another. From the Holland / Belgium tour with
JLB, the gigs in Norway..... Bulgaria where I guested with the band BTR and
then Lithuania, again with JLB......
So many highlights, so many new friends, culminating with the Stay On Top
gathering in Hamburg, with Paul Newton, Keith Baker and of course Ken. The
trip to Japan (Iris and myself) for the Circle Of Hands Heepvention, was
memorable in so many ways, the sights, the musician's.....doing a duet with
an Opera singer on July Morning ;-)) and so many young music students from
the college in Osaka, wanting to play Uriah Heep songs.....simply amazing.
To the guys in Japan, who took such good care of us, we thank you.....
To all the web masters, Rodrigo, Louis, Dave White, Staf and "Eddie", Oliver
and Carsten in Hamburg and friends (to many to name) who have helped us in
so many ways, we thank you from the heart.
To all our fans(friends) who seem to take up the first few rows at every
concert we have played, again we thank you from the heart......maybe 'somewhere
sometime' we will meet again....
We wish you a Happy and above all, a Peaceful 2005.......
Lotsa love
John & Iris,
and JLB ....Benjy, Steve, Leon and Erol"
"Hi Everyone,
Just a quick note to thank all of you for your great support over the last
few years and to say how much I am looking forward to sharing a lot of new
music and video with you in 2005. Apart from the two Anthologies which we
are all very excited about, I have already started work on my next solo CD
of new songs which will be released in the Spring and then there?s the
book.....
I have completed the outline for the musical, 'LIFE' which I will start to
develop in the Spring and which I hope will see its theatre debut in the
Spring of 2006.
So life is busy here on the farm but I am always reminded of the simple fact
that without all of you, none of this would be possible at all!!
So, thanks again from the bottom of my heart, stay safe and well and love
one another!
God bless,
Ken

- There's some negotiations going on in order to bring the Ken Hensley Band

http://www.coppel.com.au/html/c_tr_fs.html
, click on "Tour Wishlist" (the fourth link on the top menu), and choose 3

- Help the people in Southeast Asia!
You are all aware of the terrible catastrophe that has hit Southeastern Asia
one day after Christmas, killing thousands of people (the number of losses
is now around 100,000 people, although it is hard to know for sure). The
countries affected include Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, Malaysia,
the Maldives, Burma, Bangladesh, Somalia, Kenya, Seychelles and Tanzania. A
number of disaster funds have been set up to help provide the desperately
needed aid these countries now need. If you would like to make a donation
to any of these funds then please visit the links below:

Kim Fletcher is a dedicated Heepster living in Thailand who has already
written some articles about Uriah Heep's music for the local newspaper. He
also runs an Irish Pub called Shenanigans (http://www.shenanigans-pattaya.com/)
in the city of Pattaya. After the tragic events in Asia this week, he's
organizing a collection of clothes at Shenanigans Pattaya to be taken down
south. If anyone is at present in Pattaya and has some spare old clothes,
shoes, blankets etc., please bring them into Shenanigans for collection.
Please remember a lot of these people now have nothing, and will be grateful
for your compassion. There is an urgent need NOW for blood down south. If
you have "RH, Negative" blood, of any group ('A', 'B', 'AB', 'O', etc.)
please help. A bus from the Red Cross Hospital in Sriracha is in Pattaya,
with nurses to do the collections. They park on Pattaya 2nd Road very near
the Grand Sole Hotel and are working in the small clinic located directly
behind where the bus is parked. They will be here again TODAY 30/12 from
9am thru 8pm. If you are unable to go during these times, you may then go
to Somdej Red Cross Hospital in Sriracha (038-322-157). To contact Kim,
