I'm surprised to be the first to review this on its day of release - I hope there are many more.
Well, it's been 10 long years since a new Uriah Heep CD landed on my doorstep. So, at the end of a hot English summer's day, what a pleasure to just sit in the dark and simply LISTEN to this new CD. I haven't done that to a new CD for long time. Fantastic ! The last Heep CD, Sonic Origami, is also superb but apart from the first 2 tracks lacked enough heaviness that I feel Heep are really about. All corrected here....Mick Box's guitar is at last well upfront, and the whole 'crunch' factor is far greater than possibly anything they have done. It's sad Lee Kerslake had to leave the drumstool but with his arthritis I thought he would have gone some years ago.The whole band excel themselves on this album.

all i can say this latest album by Uriah Heep is surely going to be another classic since tracks like "Wake the sleeper", "overload" and "shadow" are full of atmospheric riffs and vocals enough to remind anybody of the uriah heep of old reminscent of their best album very eavy and very umble.
after i checked their website out and heard snippets of each of the new albums tracks i was speechless to say the least!
